Transitional Management Positions interim placement of a contract management professionals to fulfill the duties and obligations of key management positions on an interim basis or until the new leader is available for the project assignment.
Staff Augmentation supply of additional contract employees above and beyond the client's assigned human capital organization, typically to meet peak times of specialized skill demand.
Fixed-base Facility Staff "Leasing" provision of major portions or all of the workforce performing value-added services at the client's location and utilizing the client's capital equipment, facilities and technology. Where such an arrangement is mutually advantageous in an existing operation, KSI can simply take over the existing staff of permanent employees, and there's little change in the actual makeup of the facility organization.

Project-Based Planning & Integration KSI assists project organizations in developing a project-specific strategic plan that: identifies project goals and objectives; considers the relative strengths & weaknesses of the project organization to self-perform or to seek external support; specifies how tasks & goals will be achieved; quantifies critical performance challenges and risk parameters; identifies and commits needed resources; lists project interfaces between client, contractor and subcontractor organizations; establishes budgets & timelines for completion; specifies strategies to implement the project plan; and sets controls to manage the project according to plan.
Project Management / Project Controls Services KSI facilitates the development of comprehensive programs to implement the outcomes-oriented strategic plan, including: cost & schedule control systems; communications and reporting systems; project-specific program, plan and procedure development; lessons-learned and best-practices facilitation; and performance-based incentive program design.
Project to Project Resource Planning Effective planning for timely transition of both capital and human resources between projects has critical impact on the cost effective fulfillment of project objectives. KSI develops project needs and resource availability planning matrices that optimize the just-in-time delivery of equipment and skill sets necessary to meet project requirements.
Project Start-up assist in pre-mobilization activities; establish physical presence and required operational resources as part of client early mobilization team; rapid deployment of interim start-up workforce until client human capital is transferred, hired or otherwise made available for full-time assignment; preparation of project-specific programs, plans and procedures; team and relationship building between customer, client, and subcontractor organizations; existing workforce transition; perform project internal assessments and operational readiness reviews.
Project Close-out provide interim workforce to complete project as client human capital is transferred to other full-time assignment; verify contract performance compliance; develop close-out punch lists and coordinate completion of open items; assist with client-driven close-out activities such as record retention, capital resource relocation, and employee outplacement; complete contract and subcontract administration activities.
Distressed Project Recovery rapidly deploy "extra-project" human capital resources; assess project status for critical deficiencies; develop recovery strategies; implement corrective actions; coordinate application of necessary resources; restore customer confidence; facilitate culture change; track and validate improved performance trends.
Special Purpose Leadership Teams
KSI provides client directed and focused support resources in the form of leadership teams comprising the special needs talent to accomplish a wide variety of disciplinary requirements:
Communications establish effective internal and external communications programs; represent the client to external entities; synthesize positive public relations initiatives; facilitate interactions between client organization and other project stakeholders; prepare communication materials.
Capture Management assess client's markets, performance competencies and value offerings; identify existing and/or under-identified market opportunities; relationship building to optimize positioning toward targeted potential customers; and develop specific action-strategies to improve opportunity capture success.
