Donald I. Dracon serves as Executive Vice President of KeySource, Inc. and draws from 28 years of extensive management experience in the U.S. defense, energy, environmental, industrial manufacturing/fabrication and professional recruiting industries. His nuclear experience in consulting engineering, construction, staffing and operations management spans over two decades. Don is an accomplished executive, business development and operations leader with a proven track record in generating new business, increasing profits and transforming sales and operations organizations.

Business Growth and Nuclear Energy Programs Management

At AECOM (legacy URS Corporation), Don spent over 14 years in a variety of business development and operational roles. Serving as Vice President, Business Development of AECOM’s Power Group, Don was responsible for the strategic growth of the company’s commercial nuclear engineering and construction businesses. During his tenure, Don secured $750 million in new engineering and construction contracts and grew the Ft. Mill, South Carolina nuclear office from four to over 300 employees in 6 years. Prior to this position, Don served as the Executive Director, Business Development in AECOM’s Government Division. In this capacity, he was responsible for growing a $300 million DOE consulting services business and leading new market initiative into the Department of Defense and NASA.

Don also served as the Chief Commercial Officer for Lectrus Corporation, an engineered products and metal fabrication company serving the energy sector. His responsibilities included setting company strategic direction and managing all commercial operations. He led significant changes to the operational and commercial business practices that resulted in increasing company EBITDA by 275%.

Prior to KeySource

Prior to joining KeySource, Don was Vice President, Business Development at RCS Corporation, a professional staffing firm serving the energy, utility and industrial markets. He was responsible for companywide sales; leading efforts to identify and implement strategies for improving business processes; and positioning the company for long-term growth and profitability.

Previous career positions include Manufacturing Business Manager, Marketing Business Manager and Sales Representative for Avantor Performance Materials. Don began his career as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy aboard fast attack submarines and obtained certification as a Naval Nuclear Engineer.

A graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering, Don also holds a Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University with a concentration in Marketing.
